Details: 88 Jaguar XJ6 118,000 Miles $2000.00 OBOHere is the good, the bad and the ugly on this car;First the Bad and Ugly...(this is the full disclosure part)The engine will not start (more on this later),Drivers side window works (sometimes),Door handles are a bit sticky on all the doors except the drivers,Antenna doesn´t work (That´s what CD players are for),Some of the leather inside is cracked (That´s expected on a car this age),The tires will need replacing,The AC does not work (That´s what windows and a sunroof is for),There is some rust (That is expected on everything in Michigan of any age).More on the Engine....I was driving up from Kalamazoo a couple months ago and stopped for fuel at 100th and 131. The engine would not start when I went to leave. I had it towed home and replaced the fuel pump, filter and regulator. The car started but ran rough. I kept the revs at 2k and asked my (ex) girlfriend to hold the throttle in place while I got out. This somehow translated into ´floor it´ and she opened it up and over revved it. I think It might have jumped time but I´m not sure. Engine turns over, no strange noises but just doesn´t fire. There is spark and fuel.The Good....This is a beautiful ride and I turn heads and get comments wherever I go. A nice smooth wide as you would expect from a Jag but also handles very well. Has leather and wood through. I replace the headliner (These often need to be done). Pretty much everything else works. You can ask me anything you wish and I will answer.I love this car but I have to let her go. I am selling my house and will not have room for three cars anymore. She ran beautiful before this last incident and wish I had the time to work on her again but the sad fact is I don´t and I know she will find a good family.I´ve attached 4 pics but I have a total of 11 and can take more if your like better detail shots. Details: Please call my cell 219-814-6337 Zachary98 Jaguar XJ8 L 4.0L Jaguar V8 129kThis was the most luxury model of all the XJ series JaguarsIt has every available option that was available including a 6-disc cd changer with remote controlevery single bell and whistle in the car works The windows are tinted professionally and within the lawbrand new tiresbrand new full size spare in trunk with brand new tire on it170mph on the dashboard, this is a very fast carabsolutely beautifulThe engine and transmission have warning lights showingThe valve cover gasket has a leak in it so oil has dripped onto a spark plug or two of the sparkplugs the car to run rough. It is still fine to drive it, its just running rough right now. A tune-up will the problem.The transmission needs a shift sensor for the 1st gear. The first time you start the car and put it into drive, you need to give it a little rev before the gear catches, it will not do this anytime other then when u first start the car. I live on a slight hill so the rolling start prevents it from having to catch. Its nothing to serious, just a sensor.The car is completely dependable and drivealble. Starts right up everytime You can drive it home no problem. If you want to drive it around for awhile until you are ready to fix it, that is not a problem at all. You wont have to just take it home and park it.I am actually taking the car to my mechanic tomorrow, (monday, april 1st) and will probally be fixing the sensor for the transmission and possibly have the tune up done also depending on price.This is about a $5,000 car but im selling it for $3,000 because of the warning lights. If it ends up being just a simple fix like they are telling me then im going to go ahead and fix it but obviously im going to want a lot more for it.
