Car runs, still has power but you can here a tick somewhere in the bottom end when the motor is started and when it gets above 1500 rpm. Recently had the timing chain, timing chain tensioners, EGR valve, crankshaft sensor all replaced ($1700 worth of work) with receipts to prove it. Just tired of putting money into this car and would rather see it go. Interior is in great condition, motor is clean (can almost eat off of it) and for those that don´t know Jags...this is the supercharged model. Please do not come at me with B-S offers as they will only be ignored. The supercharger alone is worth at least $600 used, so dont come at me with those low ball offers. All body panel are good to go with the exception of the front left fender (about a 6 inch in diameter dent). I can negotiate some but not much. Cash in hand will deliver a title and keys to you.UPDATE! Car has been sitting for about 2 months and now it will not start. I have just had the major timing chain service (timing chain replaced and both tensioners were also replaced with the updated version offered) done on the car less than 250 miles ago. This is very important to note when buying a Jaguar XK because it is very expensive $1700.00 and absolutely necessary to have performed. This Jaguar has always been garaged. The interior is in beautiful condition. All power options are working correctly as they should. For notation,the rear view mirror is the type which is self tinting upon ambient light. This feature is currently not working. Their is also normal seat wear noticable on the left side upper portion of the drivers seat. The exterior of the Jaguar has just been professionally detailed and waxed. As with most gold Jaguars,Their are three areas where the clear coat is blemished. One is a quarter size on the front bumper,One is on the passenger side roof and one are is on the gas door cap. This is an easy fixto clear coat which can be done by any professional shop. I would estimate to get back to perfection in the range of $400 - $700. Again it´s not necessary,however I am very meticulous thus if you are also,you may wish to perform this at a later date. When comparing cost on this Jaguar,keep in mind the $2600 wheels tires and the $1700 timing belt service just performed. That basically shows the car apples for apples against another Jaguar of this vintage being offered at 6,600! WOW!! I am firm on the price of the Jaguar. A co-worker whom also owns a professional detail shop (he has waxed,buffed and washed the Jag over the last 2 years) has already committed to purchase the Jaguar at taxtime for this price if it is still available. The interior is tan leather, which still looks nice, the radio was changed to a CD player, but the original radio is still in the trunk if you want it. This car has some nice set of grills, the only thing wrong with it is the scratch on the rear bumper.
