Details: 2002 Black on Black with wood grain Jaguar X-Type Sport 2.5L AWD 126,000 miles runs great never had any issues in the three years I had it. Just put $1600 into it for a tune up brakes rotors and tires all the way around and a new inspection. There is corrosion built up on one of the ABS sensors that is causing the ABS light to come on but it´s not a big deal and it doesn´t keep it from operating normal but the mechanic said it was an easy fix. The interior is in nearly perfect condition with automatic rain sensing wipers and auto headlights, 10 way power seats with inflatable back cushion, traction and stability control, back up sensors, and it also has a sport button for performance mode. The speakers work fine but for someone like me who likes them loud they are not the greatest. The exterior of the car has only one possible rust spot that I see and it´s the size of a quarter and it´s bubbled up paint. There is a small spot on the rear bumper that is miss clear coat but you can barely see it. There is a fist size dent in the driver side front fender from a hit and run and some non damage scrapes on the front bumper that can just be touched up with paint also from a hit and run. It has an awesome AWD system from sport handling to driving in the snow it does great. This car doesn´t run, it was pulled off the road because of a blown head gasket. I purchased the repair kit (all top half gaskets, the kit costs about 220$) but never got around to repairing the car. i owned the car from 67k-100k, and replaced a few parts including the alternator, battery, and some other small parts.The car is white in color, and it´s the coupe. it has the 5.3l (326ci) v12 engine producing about 290hp and 310ft/lbs. Details: I re-powered this great styled car into something better. The power train is as follows:Engine is a L98 as used in the 89 Corvette. It is Tuned Port Injected and other than the typical external upgrades is stock. The 4 bolt main short block is a new factory one with about 5K on it. The 58cc aluminum Chevy heads are also new with 5K run time. By losing the V-12 Jag engine I gained dependability, more power, better mileage and an engine that parts are cheaper for plus easier to work on. Because the engine package is 300 pounds lighter than the V-12 I fitted XJ6 springs to the front end. The transmission is a 700R4 and it has the good low gear ratios and the overdrive. The 85 Jag only came with a NON- Over Drive 3 speed transmission. The rear is the stock Jaguar independent posi traction 2.88.Engine management is done by a totally dedicated electrical system, which includes its own fuses and wiring. The seats and headliner were done recently by AutoMat. All my extra parts go with this sale, including Factory Jaguar shop manual (4 books)I have saved all my receipts and will include info on the TPI conversion for future reference. Bottom line is that you end up with the quality ride and handling of the Jaguar but with out the problems of the V-12.
