The day it went into safe mode I had been driving all day well over 60 miles and it had to wait an hour then drove fine. with no lights or anything showing. SAFE MODE-. Safe mode allows the car to run but no faster than 10 mph this is to preserve the engine. Its really a stupid feature if you ask me and a pain in the butt.It will go into safe mode the car will only move 10 mph, then you stop turn car off and then right back on and it runs like brand new.
