I´ve driven the car for the past 8 years, daily drives to the office or longer summer excursions to Las Vegas and San Francisco. A remarkable car on the open road, truly enjoyable classic car that turns many heads. The 2+2 has been great for me with younger kids, a very practical tourer, and a stylish shopper too with the rear hatch. Engine was completely rebuilt 63000 miles back for which I still have the printed details. The mechanicals are very sound, with improvement to items each year, and maintained regularly by British Motors of North Hollywood. The seating and much of the interior trim has been upgraded already too. Next on my list would be new window rubber and then a paint refresh, I´ve taken $3500 off the original asking price toward any future upgrade. I also have a new set of chrome bumpers ready to complete the package.Its on the market now, not only because we have 4 children but we´re planning on returning home to Ireland. Recent work includes new catalytic converter and rebuilt transmission (1 year warranty, have receipt, done 2 months ago). Odometer shows 081,828 miles (six digit odometer, not five) although after the transmission rebuild the odometer works intermittently.Car is very reliable.
