Details: For sale is a very rare 2003 Jaguar S-Type R. This version of the S-Type came with a 4.2 supercharged engine producing 400 horsepower, a 6 speed ZF automatic transmission, 14 inch brakes in the front and 12 inch in the rear with 4 piston Brembo calipers all the way around, 18 inch special edition wheels, rear spoiler, and a stainless steel mesh grille that differs from the regular S-Type. The car is loaded with options like touch screen navigation, 6 disc cd changer, sunroof, leather, power everything, and heated seats. The car has 120,000 miles which is low for a Jaguar. I have driven the car around and it has tons of power and shifts smooth. It does periodically have a couple codes in the computer, two of which say the engine is running lean (P0171 and P0174) and another one, P0741, which from what I understand only causes your highway mileage to drop by 5-10%. The traction control light is also on but I have not been able to tell if it truly is not working or if the light is just on. The car has a prior salvage title due to hitting a deer. The accident was very minor because the history report does not even list an accident but due to how expensive new Jaguar parts are it was totaled by the insurance company. The car was professionally repaired and repainted and is now ready for you to enjoy. Obtaining a prior salvage title in Missouri is not an easy task, the car has to be in excellent condition because the car has to be throughly inspected by a highway patrolman before they will allow it to be placed back on the road.
