Details: early 1980´s JAGUAR XJ6 - has set for several years, currently garaged - I no longer have the energy or health to pursue this car - Over $13,000 spent on rebuilt engine, transmission, rear end, suspension, almost brand new Michelins, real chrome wire wheels, heater, radio and more. The car is driveable, not inspected for several years and probably OK but it will need a once-over after being idle - cosmetics need some work, some leather split, normal rust. It´s a shame to just sit unused when it really should be someone´s Classic Jag hobby - project. A few connections not working. These issues come and go with the seasons. For example the AC fan, a window and probably more. No tears but seams are tired and worn. Headliner should be replaced.Really a beautiful car. Great color for this year and model. Rides and handles wonderfully. Details: This is a classic Jaguar. I have driven it from Glen Burnie, Maryland to Austin, Texas and back to Woodbridge, Dale City, Virginia. I´ve owned this car for about 2 and 1/2 years. It´s not perfect, but it is reliable. I am still driving it back and forth to work since moving here from Texas. It still has Texas plates. I was going to register the Jaguar in Virginia, but I just got a smaller car. I am renting and I can only maintain one parking spot, so one car has to go. Because I just moved here, I´m keeping the one better on gas.I am selling the vehicle for $1200 or best offer. The electric sunroof, mirrors, and windows all work fine. It is a classic. Right now, you will only need to do the basic maintenance to keep it running. I´m not going to put any more money into it. The radio/mp3 player went out while I was driving up here. I think I just had it turned up too loud and blew a fuse or something. The AC/Heater works, but the blower motor does not. The car still turns heads. I have enjoyed it, but due to under-employment, I have to let some things go. I´ve changed the brakes, hand brakes, and kept it registered and operational. It is a classic. Details: 1989 Jag XJS12 coupe - champagne silver color with tan interior. All leather in excellent shape. Passed emissions recently. Less than 66000 miles. Needs some cosmetic touch up and switches replaced and has fading original point. Very solid vehicle that has been used very little over the past ten years.
