Details: I am selling my wife´s Certified Pre-Owned, 2006 Jaguar S-Type 3.0L. It has been her pride and joy, and she´s not all that thrilled about selling it. However, our transitioning lifestyle is now requiring a larger sedan. ACQUISITION:We purchased this vehicle in December of 2009 as it came off a 36-month lease. It had been meticulously maintained via the dealership, and showed just over a verified 21,000 miles on the odometer. It now reads just under 43,000 miles. Yes, that´s just 11k miles per year during our ownership, or just over 7k miles per year over the lifespan of the vehicle!MAINTENANCE:The oil has been changed regularly (per Jaguar´s schedule) since first sale, and still has just over 1 month remaining on the Jaguar Select Edition warranty. That makes this vehicle a Certified Pre-Owned! This will provide you with ample time to have the vehicle inspected by Jaguar, as well as allow you the time to purchase an additional extended-warranty, should you prefer. They do exist! Our experience with mechanical concerns has been quite limited. New brakes were installed in May of 2011, almost 8k miles ago. 4 new Yokohama tires were installed in July of 2010 at just under 30k miles. Only 13k miles on the new tires! New fuel pump within first 6 months of ownership. Other than that, we´ve not had significant issues. The vehicle is extremely sporty, especially during acceleration. Yet, you can enjoy all this motor has to offer while resting comfortably in absolute luxury.UPDATE: We wanted to make certain we were properly representing a sound vehicle. So we took it to Jaguar Austin for their 145-point inspection. They replaced/repaired everything they found during this inspection, including replacing the AC compressor! Vehicle is in excellent operating condition. INTERIOR:The smoke-free interior is super clean with minimal wear and tear. Absolutely nothing a professional detail can´t manage. We´ve have it washed at H20 on Lamar/Barton Springs once every couple weeks. The leather is in fantastic shape with no rips/tears. Minimum creasing is evident from everyday sitting. The power seats (driver/passenger) work like a charm. Sunroof is pristine. No leaks. Ever. The NAV and stereo system are completely operational, with zero latent defects. Everything in the entire vehicle works like new. I think you´ll find the interior to be handsomely appointed. Details: I am selling my wife´s Certified Pre-Owned, 2006 Jaguar S-Type 3.0L. It has been her pride and joy, and she´s not all that thrilled about selling it. However, our transitioning lifestyle is now requiring a larger sedan. ACQUISITION:We purchased this vehicle in December of 2009 as it came off a 36-month lease. It had been meticulously maintained via the dealership, and showed just over a verified 21,000 miles on the odometer. It now reads just under 43,000 miles. Yes, that´s just 11k miles per year during our ownership, or just over 7k miles per year over the lifespan of the vehicle!MAINTENANCE:The oil has been changed regularly (per Jaguar´s schedule) since first sale, and still has just over 1 month remaining on the Jaguar Select Edition warranty. That makes this vehicle a Certified Pre-Owned! This will provide you with ample time to have the vehicle inspected by Jaguar, as well as allow you the time to purchase an additional extended-warranty, should you prefer. They do exist! Our experience with mechanical concerns has been quite limited. New brakes were installed in May of 2011, almost 8k miles ago. 4 new Yokohama tires were installed in July of 2010 at just under 30k miles. Only 13k miles on the new tires! New fuel pump within first 6 months of ownership. Other than that, we´ve not had significant issues. The vehicle is extremely sporty, especially during acceleration. Yet, you can enjoy all this motor has to offer while resting comfortably in absolute luxury.UPDATE: We wanted to make certain we were properly representing a sound vehicle. So we took it to Jaguar Austin for their 145-point inspection. They replaced/repaired everything they found during this inspection, including replacing the AC compressor! Vehicle is in excellent operating condition. INTERIOR:The smoke-free interior is super clean with minimal wear and tear. Absolutely nothing a professional detail can´t manage. We´ve have it washed at H20 on Lamar/Barton Springs once every couple weeks. The leather is in fantastic shape with no rips/tears. Minimum creasing is evident from everyday sitting. The power seats (driver/passenger) work like a charm. Sunroof is pristine. No leaks. Ever. The NAV and stereo system are completely operational, with zero latent defects. Integrated, hands-free, Bluetooth system works impeccably. AC and heat are operational like the day it came off the showroom. Features integrated garage door openers in the above-head center console. Everything in the entire vehicle works like new. I think you´ll find the interior to be handsomely appointed. The wood dash, console, and steering wheel show no cracks/breaks, and are in exquisite condition. Carpets show very little wear. Backseat has been sat in maybe 3 times during ownership, if that. EXTERIOR:The exterior has a couple scratches along both the driver/passenger side panel. Nothing unexpected from a vehicle of this age. Several are depicted in the last two photos. A minimum number of very faint dents can be seen in the right light. But you must look for them. Like I said, it has been babied. Garage kept since ownership. Other than that, the exterior of the vehicle is superb. Front, and back, parking control sensors are operational. When vehicle approaches an object, an interior chime beeps to warn of distance. Though it is not noted on the CarFax, the vehicle was bumped from behind at a street light. The damage was extremely insignificant, but it did scratch the bumper. Considering the condition my wife appreciates her vehicles, the bumper was replaced in its entirety. No paint work has been done to this Jaguar S-Type since our ownership. The rims show near invisible signs of curb rash. i.e. - Very light scratch on the front right rim. I think you´ll find the overall exterior to be well above average.ENGINE:Engine runs smoothly and is typical for the proclivities of the 3.0L. You are welcome to all records we have kept in the glove box. Like I said, we´ve never experienced any major mechanical concerns, par from having the fuel pump replaced. TERMS OF SALE:This 2006 Jaguar S-Type 3.0L is a 100% head turner. It´s not odd to have random people stopping you making positive comments, or just asking about the vehicle, in general. Manufacturer manual and 2 original key fobs will be included in sale. This S-Type is still under lender financing. If you are not familiar with the process, it is quite simple. We meet at your bank, they call my bank, and your bank pays mine. I write you a ´bill of sale´, we both go to a local DMV, you pay the taxes and that´s that. Title will be sent to your home address. This is not my first vehicle to sell on craigslist. I do have previous references. With their permission, I´d be happy to provide their contact info for your verification of my professionalism. I will not owner-finance, or allow assumption of payments. Purchase will be paid in full for possession of ownership to occur.TEST DRIVES:There will be NO joy rides. I will accompany all test drives.
